Language Inspiration Quilts

Fun for children of all ages! A range of sizes and washable, too!

My background as an Early Childhood Educator, culminating in two years as the Literacy Teacher for Clarkston's PreSchool for the Arts, led me to create "Language Inspiration" quilts. For these small (or large if you choose), flannel-backed quilts I choose fabrics with animals, vehicles, people and foods. Brightly colored objects that will inspire children to say "What's that?" in the beginning and ultimately to tell stories about the pictures on their quilts. Adults enjoy these quilts too! I can, also, make them with a particular theme. I'm currently saving quilt squares with dogs, cats, and giraffes for thematic quilts. I'm always on the lookout for giraffes and fairies...
